Hisense Ghana denies break-in at Ashaiman showroom

Hisense Ghana has addressed reports about an incident at its Ashaiman showroom, denying claims that a break-in or theft occurred.

The company said damage to the showroom’s glass doors led to confusion, but it confirmed that no items were stolen.

In a statement released on Friday, May 22, the electronics company explained that early reports suggesting a burglary were incorrect.

It stressed that all products in the showroom remain safe and accounted for.

According to the company, the incident started from a misunderstanding between the landlord and some members of the local community.

The situation escalated and resulted in damage to the property before it was brought under control.

Hisense Ghana also confirmed that the Ghana Police Service is currently investigating the matter together with the landlord.

The company said the process aims to ensure a fair and orderly resolution.

The company thanked customers and the public for their concern during the incident.

It reassured them that business operations continue without disruption.

“The Ashaiman showroom is fully operational and open to the public as usual, and all services continue without interruption,” the statement assured.
