A woman who was kidnapped in Kaduna State has reportedly d!ed in bandits’ captivity.
According to reports, Naomi Makau was abducted by bandits last year in Kauru Local Government Area of the state.
The abductors repeatedly contacted her parents, demanding a ransom for her release.
Her parents could not afford to pay the ransom due to financial constraints.
The report indicated that the bandits allegedly forced her to cook for them in their camp and threatened to marry her off to one of them against her will.
It was gathered that the family received news that she passed away while in captivity on 5 June 2026.
