Nigerian DJ and media personality Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, said she does not see herself marrying a Nigerian man.
DJ Cuppy, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, made the statement while speaking about her past relationships during a recent conversation.
According to her, the decision was influenced by an unpleasant experience with a former Nigerian boyfriend who appeared more interested in meeting her father than in building a genuine relationship with her.
She also revealed that her father is not particular about who she eventually marries, stressing that his main concern is that she settles down and finds happiness in marriage.
Speaking further, the entertainer expressed excitement over the relationship between her younger sister, Temi Otedola, and Afrobeats singer Mr Eazi.
“I can never marry a Nigerian. It’s impossible. The last one I dated was asking me when he could meet my dad. I didn’t even think they liked me. My dad doesn’t even care who I marry; he just wants me to get married. That’s why I’m so happy for Temi and Eazi,” DJ Cuppy said.
