Suspected bandits have shared a video flaunting large sums of money allegedly obtained from ransom payments for kidnap victims.
The video has been shared online, eliciting concern about the state of the nation.
Bakatsine, a journalist who reports on conflict and insecurity in Nigeria’s North-West region, shared the video on X and wrote: “This video shows bandits flaunting money obtained through ransom payments. May Allah bring an end to this tragedy and grant Nigeria lasting peace.”
The video shows lots of bundles of cash stacked on a sack on the floor.
