I’ve Instructed My Lawyers to Petition the Police and the EFCC Over Issues Relating to Obi – Abayomi Arabambi

Labour Party National Vice Chairman (South-West), Dr. Abayomi Arabambi, says he has directed his lawyers to petition the Nigeria Police Force and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over issues relating to former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi.

Arabambi disclosed this during an interview on News Central TV while discussing Obi’s political activities and allegations that some individuals were attempting to stop him from contesting the 2027 presidential election.

According to Arabambi, the petitions stem from concerns he raised during the interview regarding documents and other matters he believes warrant investigation by the relevant authorities.

“I have instructed my lawyers to petition the police and the EFCC over issues relating to Peter Obi,” he said.

He stated that pursuing the matter through formal legal channels would allow the police and the EFCC to examine the claims, determine whether further investigation is necessary, and take appropriate action if required. Arabambi added that public office holders and political figures should be prepared to respond to questions raised through lawful and established institutions.
