Arabambi: He Knew We Had Advantage Over Tinubu, but with Yesufu, LP Didn’t Upload 53k Polling Units

Labour Party chieftain Abayomi Arabambi has alleged that the party failed to upload results from 53,000 polling units during the 2023 general election despite, in his view, having an advantage over President Bola Tinubu.

According to Symfoni News, Arabambi made the remarks during an interview on Thursday, July 9, 2026, while discussing the Labour Party’s performance in the election and Peter Obi’s leadership.

“If Peter Obi becomes president, Nigeria will disintegrate. He knew we had advantage over Tinubu, but with Aisha Yesufu, LP didn’t upload 53k polling units,” Arabambi claimed.

The remarks have sparked debate among supporters and critics, with some linking them to ongoing political discussions ahead of the 2027 general election. Others said the allegation regarding the unuploaded polling units has raised questions about the party’s internal decisions during the election.

Arabambi’s comments reflect his personal views and allegations made during the interview. The claims have not been independently verified.
