The United States has carried out another wave of military strikes against Iran, with US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirming that its forces targeted dozens of military sites across multiple locations.
According to the Times of Israel, CENTCOM said the operation was aimed at degrading key elements of Iran’s military infrastructure using precision-guided munitions.
The command said the strikes targeted air defence systems, coastal radar installations, missile launch assets, drone-related infrastructure and small military boats believed to support Iran’s regional operations.
CENTCOM added that the operation involved a combination of fighter aircraft, naval assets, unmanned aerial systems and one-way attack aerial and sea drones, highlighting the range of platforms used during the mission.
In a brief statement, the command said US forces had “completed another wave of strikes against Iran,” describing the operation as one that hit dozens of military-related targets across several locations.
The latest offensive comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with both countries continuing to exchange military actions, raising concerns about further escalation and regional stability.
