Israeli televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn has warned that people living in sin and disobedience cannot discover God’s perfect will for their lives, saying separation from God hinders their ability to receive divine guidance.
Hinn made the remarks during a recent sermon shared on YouTube, where he spoke on the importance of obedience and maintaining a close relationship with God.
According to the preacher, understanding God’s will requires spiritual alignment, and those who persist in sinful living may struggle to discern His direction.
“People living in sin will never find the perfect will of God because you cannot live in disobedience and find God’s perfect will,” Hinn said.
He explained that while many people pray and seek answers from God, an unrepentant lifestyle can become a barrier to receiving clarity and guidance.
Hinn cited Psalm 66:18, which states, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me,” saying unconfessed sin can affect a believer’s relationship with God and their ability to understand His plans.
The televangelist also referenced the biblical account of Israel demanding a king despite God’s warning, arguing that the episode illustrates the consequences of pursuing personal desires instead of waiting for God’s perfect plan.
According to Hinn, although God allowed the Israelites’ request, the decision ultimately brought difficulties because it did not align with His ideal will.
He urged Christians to pursue holiness, remain committed to prayer, and maintain daily fellowship with God, saying obedience creates the right environment for believers to recognize divine direction.
Hinn added that discovering God’s will is not only about seeking answers but also about cultivating a relationship with God through prayer, obedience, and commitment. He encouraged believers to examine their spiritual lives and remove anything that could hinder their walk with God, describing closeness to Him as the foundation for understanding His purpose.
