FIFA has unveiled its official Best XI for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, recognising the tournament’s standout performers across six nations, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Cape Verde’s Vozinha was named the tournament’s top goalkeeper after a series of impressive displays that helped his country enjoy a historic World Cup campaign.
The defence features Spain’s Marc Cucurella and Pedro Porro at full-back, alongside France’s Dayot Upamecano and Argentina’s Lisandro Martínez in central defence.
The midfield consists of Spain’s Rodri, England’s Jude Bellingham and France’s Michael Olise, whose performances earned praise for their creativity, control and influence throughout the tournament.
Leading the attack are Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé. Messi captained Argentina to the final, Haaland enjoyed a prolific tournament with Norway, while Mbappé finished as the Golden Boot winner with 10 goals.
