A mass sho0ting left three people de@d and four wounded, including a toddler, at a food festival near the Space Needle in Seattle on Sunday,
Several sh0ts rang out at the Seattle Center, which was hosting the popular Bite of Seattle food festival, U.S. around 6 p.m. local time, and a suspect was later taken into custody, according to cops and the Seattle Times.
Two victims died at the scene before police revealed that a third person had d!ed at Harborview Medical Center.
Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson, in a statement Sunday night, said one person was taken into custody. Another suspected sho0ter remained at large, Seattle Assistant Police Chief Tyrone Davis said around 10:50 p.m.
“There may be more,” Davis said. “We’re still trying to figure this out.”
At least four people – a 2-year-old boy, a man, 23, and two women, 39 and 56 – were injured and hospitalized. One of those victims has since died, police said.
A 40-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and refused to be transported to the hospital.
The injured toddler appeared to be conscious but wasn’t crying while being treated by paramedics, according to witness Michael Girardi.
“The mother [was] in anguish,” he told the Times.
Cops suspect two people were shooting at each other. One suspect was taken into custody, Mayor Katie Wilson announced about three hours after the gunfire broke out.
The other suspect, currently at large, is a “young person,” according to Tyrone Davis, the Seattle police assistant chief.
Food festival attendee Estan Wakonabo, 25, told the Seattle Times that crowds of people began trampling over each other while fleeing the gunfire.
“It was just pure chaos,” he said.
“People were hiding, were pushing, people were falling on the ground, baby strollers were falling,” he told the Associated Press.
