A resident of the Naridom community in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State has recounted the killing of his children during a deadly bandit attack on the community.
According to reports, about 30 people were confirmed dead after armed bandits attacked Naridom. In a video shared by News Central TV on Saturday, August 1, 2026, the resident alleged that the attackers spoke the Fulani language before entering his home and opening fire.
“The Fulani men came, they started shooting, they speak their language. As they came inside my room, I saw them; six of my children were shot in the head, five of them died instantly on that day,” he said.
The victim’s account follows reports of the deadly assault that claimed dozens of lives and left the community devastated. His claims about the attackers’ language reflect his personal account of the incident and have not been independently verified. Authorities are yet to provide further details on the attack or those responsible.
