My ex-boyfriend and I broke up about eight months ago after I caught him cheating on me not once, not twice, but three different times. Every single time I confronted him, he denied everything and came up with one lie after another to cover his tracks. A few minutes later, after what must have been a lot of typing, he sent me a very long message. It was all about how he had made the biggest mistake of his life by letting me go, how much he still loved me, and how sorry he was for everything.
Nothing in this world is making me go back to that man. Absolutely nothing. And I told him exactly that. I said I wasn’t holding any grudges against him, but there was no way he was going to fool me again after everything he had already put me through. I refused to give him another chance.

What makes it even stranger is that our relationship was never sexual, so I honestly didn’t see any of this coming. I mean, if we had been sleeping together, maybe I could have told myself he just couldn’t get enough of me or something. But that wasn’t even the case.
