2027: Malami Names Musa Zagi as ADC Deputy Governorship Candidate in Kebbi

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has named Musa Zagi as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 governorship election in Kebbi State.

According to Daily Post, the appointment was approved by the party’s governorship candidate, former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami. The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the ADC’s Kebbi State Publicity Secretary, Engr. Abubakar Atiku Musa.

The party said Zagi’s nomination completes its governorship ticket ahead of the 2027 election, describing the selection as a key milestone in its preparations. It expressed confidence in his ability to serve the state if the party wins the election.

The ADC also congratulated other candidates contesting elective positions in Kebbi State and urged them to remain committed to the party’s ideals. It called on members and supporters to maintain unity and strengthen the party’s campaign across the state.

The party appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other stakeholders to ensure the 2027 elections are peaceful, free, fair and transparent. It also urged Kebbi residents to support its candidates, promising improved governance and development if elected.
