Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy to President Tinubu has taken to his official X handle to launch another scathing attack on the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Wednesday June 10th, 2026 he pointed out that the former governor has never shown original or authentic thinking, hence, he was not the best candidate for 2027.
The recent venomous attack came amid the heated arguments that trailed the capabilities and integrity of the former governor, with reports circling on different social media platforms indicating that, he was not only compromised, but actively involved in electoral malpractices.
Peter Obi, according to Bayo Onanuga, was a copy and paste politician who rode on the strength of others to national prominence, giving instances to substantiate his claims.
He further pointed out that after stepping aside from the helms of affairs as Anambra State governor, Peter Obi had nothing to show for his eight years in office, citing the remarks of his successor, Williams Obiano.
President Tinubu on the other hand, according to Bayo Onanuga, left behind a functioning system in Lagos State. LAWMA, LASTMA, LAMATA, amongst several others, according to Onanuga, were the legacies left behind by Bola Tinubu.
