The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested one Peter Sinamai, 30 years, a resident of Sangere Gombi LGA in connection with the alleged k!lling of his biological father and dumping the corpse in a well.
The suspect was arrested following a report received by operatives of the Command. Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the suspect allegedly k!lled his father and disposed of the body in a well within their community.
The state Commissioner of Police, CP Kabiru Umar Hassan, has ordered a discreet and thorough investigation into the matter to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. The corpse has been recovered and deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.
Confirming his arrest to newmen, SP Suleiman Nguroje, spokesperson of the police command, said the suspect will be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
