A man has stirred reactions online after claiming that some women who move to Abuja, especially during their NYSC year, do so with the hope of meeting wealthy men who can sponsor their lifestyles.
Speaking at gathering, he claimed that many go to great lengths to appear affluent, including borrowing wigs, phones and other luxury items to maintain a certain image on social media.
He argued that some are more interested in looking rich than creating wealth, often spending on expensive items instead of investing in businesses or other income-generating opportunities.
The man also criticised what he described as unrealistic financial expectations from some women, despite having little financial stability themselves.
He advised women relocating to Abuja to focus on building their careers, earning their own income and becoming financially independent.
