Is it proper for a married woman to abduct another woman

Actress Rita Edochie took to her Instagram page today to ask an interesting question, days after Judy Austin, wife of actor, Yul Edochie, took to her IG page to also pose a question.

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has sparked fresh social media debate after posting a pointed question on her Instagram page, coming just days after Judy Austin raised questions regarding Igbo cultural traditions.

Last Saturday, Judy Austin—wife of actor Yul Edochie—questioned the morality of women wearing the traditional Igbo red cap. Austin argued that the attire is strictly reserved for titled men and stated that women wearing it violates Igbo tradition. Days later, Rita Edochie countered with her own public inquiry. She questioned whether it is acceptable for a woman to hold someone’s husband captive for over four years. She argued that individuals with questionable character should refrain from preaching about morality.

While Rita did not explicitly name anyone, netizens widely believe the remarks were aimed directly at Judy.
