In a video shared by Advocacy For Good Governance, Peter Obi, a flagbearer for the Nigerian Democratic Congress NDC and former governor of Anambra state, has given his take on ethnicity and religious bigotry in Nigeria.
He mentioned that ethnicity and religion are two major tools used by the greedy elite to marginalize Nigerians, emphasizing the need for Nigerians to select their leaders based on competence, capacity, and compassion.
However, Peter Obi, a flagbearer for the Nigerian Democratic Congress NDC and former governor of Anambra state, stressed that if the Muslims begin to sell bread at a cheaper price today, Christians will go to the mosques to buy it.
In Obi’s words, “Tell me if there is any religion that buys bread cheaper; if the Muslims start selling bread cheaper today, Christians will go to the mosques to buy the bread.”
