The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned President Bola Tinubu to take seriously international concerns over allegations of killings of Christians in Nigeria.
Ayodele warned that the issue could attract global attention if the government fails to address it and tackle the country’s security challenges.
“They will raise a case on it; The government must not overlook these allegations because they can become a major issue internationally; President Tinubu needs to be proactive and ensure that insecurity is tackled effectively before the situation attracts more global attention,” he said.
The cleric urged the Federal Government to strengthen security measures and protect all citizens regardless of religion, stressing that unresolved insecurity could expose Nigeria to increased international scrutiny.
He added that protecting lives and property should remain a top priority for the administration.
