The attackers kidnapped the occupants and held them for about 24 hours before a police rescue operation secured their release.
The woman said she was returning from a wedding in Anambra in a Sienna bus when the attackers struck.
“We just heard a gunshot from the center of the road, the man now faced me and fired at me,” she said, adding that she sustained a gunshot wound to her hand.
She also disclosed that her daughter was injured during the attack and later underwent treatment at a general hospital, where bullets were removed from her body.
