Adeleke: He Would’ve Enjoyed Sitting in the Palace of His Father, Asiwaju, as His First Son – Fadahunsi

Senator Francis Fadahunsi has criticised Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for failing to align politically with President Bola Tinubu, arguing that the governor missed an opportunity to strengthen ties with the Federal Government.

Speaking in an interview shared by Viable TV, Fadahunsi said he had previously advised Adeleke on his political direction, adding that following the advice could have spared the governor his current political challenges.

The senator said Adeleke could have enjoyed a unique relationship with Tinubu, whom he referred to as Asiwaju and Jagaban, describing the president as a political father figure from Osun State.

“He would have even enjoyed sitting in the palace of his father, that’s the king, the Asiwaju and the Jagaban, to be his first son, his state governor. You see that all the governors will be rallying through him and he will be enjoying the federal might now,” Fadahunsi said.

He also claimed Osun is the only South-West state without an airport, noting that a project initiated under former Governor Rauf Aregbesola was transferred to the Nigerian Air Force before completion. Fadahunsi added that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is determined to reclaim Osun State.
