History Will Remember What Fubara Achieved Despite the Difficulties Surrounding His Government, Chief Nwuzi Says

Chief Ambrose Nwuzi, Chairman of the Rivers State Elders Council, says Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s administration will be remembered for its achievements despite the challenges it faced during its first three years in office.

Speaking in an interview on SYMFONI, Nwuzi said the governor remained focused on governance, infrastructure development and public service delivery despite what he described as difficult political and administrative conditions.

“History will remember what Governor Fubara achieved despite the difficult circumstances surrounding his administration,” Nwuzi said, arguing that the governor’s performance should be assessed within the context of the environment in which he governed.

He added that residents had witnessed road construction, infrastructure development and other government interventions across Rivers State, describing them as evidence of the administration’s resilience and commitment to its responsibilities.

Nwuzi said future generations would be better positioned to evaluate the administration’s impact, maintaining that posterity would judge Governor Fubara based on the projects delivered and their benefits to communities rather than the controversies that surrounded his tenure.
