Lauretta Onochie Reacts as ADC Members Were Spotted Holding a Meeting in Abuja, Says Liberation Is Near

Lauretta Onochie, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former presidential aide, has reacted after party members held a meeting in Abuja following recent legal developments involving the party.

In a post on her official X account, Onochie said ADC members remained undeterred by the recent judgment delivered by Justice Isah Dashen, which she said ordered the party’s de-recognition.

She expressed optimism about the party’s future, telling supporters to anticipate “liberation” despite the legal setback.

According to Onochie, the meeting attracted party members from across the country, who remained upbeat throughout the gathering.

She said attendees sang and danced during the meeting, describing the atmosphere as one of confidence and resilience despite the ongoing controversy surrounding the court ruling. Her comments have since generated widespread discussion on social media.
