Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu has questioned why individuals described as suspects would allegedly be hiding inside the Osun State Government House during a visit to Governor Ademola Adeleke.
According to a report published by Punch on its official X account on Friday, July 3, 2026, the IGP said the Osun State Commissioner of Police had informed him that some wanted suspects were allegedly hibernating in the Government House.
Disu said the allegation, if true, was unacceptable and warranted explanation.
“He, too, has briefed me. He briefed me that some suspects he is looking for are hibernating in the Government House. I looked at that. If that is true, why should suspects be in the Government House?” the IGP said, according to Punch.
The remarks came during the Inspector General’s visit to Governor Adeleke at the Osun State Government House.
