Turkish club Trabzonspor have submitted the first official bid for Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, making a loan proposal to Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the new season.
According to Soccernet, Trabzonspor formally approached Wolves after monitoring the 24-year-old Nigerian forward for several weeks. Turkish journalist Zeki Uzundurukan reported that the Super Lig side are keen to strengthen their attack and view Arokodare as a potential replacement for fellow Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu, who could leave the club this summer.
Arokodare’s future has attracted attention following Wolves’ relegation from the Premier League after eight consecutive seasons in the top flight. The club will compete in the Championship next season, prompting uncertainty over several first-team players.
The striker joined Wolves from Belgian side Genk in the summer of 2025 on a four-year contract, with an option for an additional year. He made 33 Premier League appearances in his debut campaign, including 13 starts, while the rest came as a substitute.
Any transfer is expected to be complicated, with Arokodare still under a long-term contract at Wolves.
