Fake Agency: I Gave Tanimola ₦400 Million to Give to Femi Gbajabiamila — Adeniyi Adeyemi

Adeniyi Adeyemi, who is under investigation over allegations of operating a purported government agency during the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has alleged that he gave ₦400 million to the late Dolapo Tanimola to deliver to the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Adeyemi claimed that Tanimola acted as an intermediary between him and Gbajabiamila.

According to Adeyemi, he entrusted Tanimola with the money and believes it was delivered.

“Mr. Dolapo Tanimola is the intermediary between myself and the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. I gave Mr. Tanimola ₦400 million to give to Femi Gbajabiamila. I am very sure he delivered the money,” he said.

The allegation was made during Adeyemi’s response to questions surrounding the ongoing investigation into claims that he spearheaded a purported government agency.

Adeyemi’s claims have not been independently verified, and neither Femi Gbajabiamila nor representatives of the Presidency had publicly responded to the allegation at the time of reporting. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
