Nigerian entrepreneur Bunmi George, popularly known as Jbums, has revealed that her husband joined her business after losing his job and took on various responsibilities, including making product deliveries to customers.
According to a PUNCH report published on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, George shared the experience during an appearance on the Dear Ife podcast hosted by Ife Agoro.
She said her husband reported to the office daily as an employee, received a salary like other staff members, and was willing to perform any task required to support the business.
George disclosed that he personally handled deliveries on several occasions, with many customers unaware of his relationship to the company’s founder.
“He used to come to the office, and he was earning a salary. Some people actually got deliveries from my husband personally. They didn’t know he was doing delivery work,” she said.
She presented the experience as an example of her husband’s commitment and willingness to support the business during a challenging period following his unemployment.
