Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it carried out attacks on military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait, claiming the strikes targeted weapons storage sites and infrastructure linked to US drone operations.
According to Al Jazeera, the IRGC announced on July 14, 2026, that the attacks were part of its response to ongoing US military activities in the region.
In a statement, the IRGC said Iran would continue retaliatory operations for as long as what it described as US aggression persists.
“Retaliation and punishment of the aggressor will continue as long as the crimes of the United States continue,” the statement said.
The IRGC also warned that any further attacks by the United States would trigger additional responses.
“Should these attacks be repeated, they will be met with further surprise responses,” it added.
The statement further linked regional energy exports to the security situation, warning that continued US military operations could affect the movement of oil and gas through the Gulf.
According to the IRGC, “As long as the United States continues its hostile actions in the region, not a single drop of oil or gas will be exported from the region, and these acts of aggression will result only in further delaying the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.”
The remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with concerns growing over the potential impact of escalating military confrontations on regional security and global energy supplies.
