Kylian Mbappé has reportedly told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he has convinced France teammate Michael Olise to join the Spanish club during the current transfer window.
According to a report by German outlet BILD published on July 22, 2026, Mbappé used their time together at the 2026 FIFA World Cup to encourage the Bayern Munich winger to move to the Santiago Bernabéu, telling him they could form a “perfect duo” in Madrid.
The report claims Olise has given the green light to a potential transfer following Mbappé’s efforts. However, Real Madrid must still reach an agreement with Bayern Munich, where the 24-year-old remains under contract.
Olise has become a key player for the Bundesliga champions since joining from Crystal Palace and further enhanced his reputation with his performances for France at the 2026 World Cup.
The attacking midfielder reportedly finished the tournament as its leading assist provider with seven assists, a feat that could make negotiations with Bayern more challenging should Real Madrid submit a formal offer.
