Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee has agreed to join Juventus as he looks to end his difficult spell at Old Trafford, according to a FootballTransfers report published on Wednesday, July 22.
The Dutch international joined United from Italian football in the summer of 2024 in a deal worth around €43 million, but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter over the past two seasons.
The 25-year-old is reportedly keen to return to Serie A after losing his place in the Netherlands national team. Juventus have revived their long-standing interest in the striker, with the player said to be fully committed to making the move.
Talks between the clubs remain at an early stage, with Juventus exploring a possible loan deal while working within financial constraints and seeking to free up space in their squad.
The report adds that Juventus are optimistic an agreement can be reached, with the strong relationship between the club’s hierarchy and Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, expected to help facilitate negotiations. If completed, the move would offer Zirkzee an opportunity to revive his career in familiar surroundings.
