The Anambra State Government this morning June 5, arraigned eight alleged fake pastors before the state High court for violating the state’s 2025 Homeland Security Law.
The individuals arraigned include Ndubisi Nnachukwu of Omega Dominion Ministry, Ekeleme Chris Ugochukwu of Cloud of Glory Prophetic Ministry , Bishop Emeka Nwamkpa of Chapel of Faith Ministry, Peter Chukwu of Messiah Adoration Ministry, Chinedu Egwuonwu of Citadel of Grace Ministry , Ebele Nnachukwu of Jehovah, Mighty Than All Ministry, Miracle Iruoma of City of Power Ministry and Chukwukadibia Ogwuama of Land of Testimony Adoration Ministry.
The 2025 Homeland Security Law which was passed into law in February 2025 frowns at certain forms of religious practices that are deemed inimical to the public, especially as it pertains to wealth creation.
Last year, some native doctors who were promoting get-rich-quick practices were also arrested. While some has been prosecuted and hailed, others are still undergoing trial.
The charges against them is yet to be disclosed.
