Paul Ibe, Senior Special Adviser on Media to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has reacted after Presidential Adviser on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga defended the Presidency over allegations involving Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi.
Adeyemi has been accused of engaging in fraudulent activities, with claims circulating online linking his actions to the office of President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. However, no concrete evidence has been presented to substantiate the allegations or establish any official connection.
Responding to the claims, Onanuga said Adeyemi acted independently and had no ties to either the Chief of Staff or the Presidency.
In a post on his official X account, Ibe argued that the Presidency should provide answers to questions surrounding the matter to address public concerns. He maintained that Nigerians deserve further clarification despite Onanuga’s denial of any link between Adeyemi and the Presidency.
