Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, who once served as Governor of Sokoto State, has spoken out against President Bola Tinubu’s leadership. He said the current government is not performing well and is failing to solve Nigeria’s problems, according to report by The Nation.
Tambuwal announced that a new political group is coming together. According to him, the goal of this coalition is to promote honest leadership and give Nigerians a peaceful way to demand change through elections.
He reminded people that before the 2023 elections, he had warned them not to vote for Tinubu. Now, he says, the country is facing the results of that decision. He believes the government is confused and unable to handle the pressure.
“These are the things the current government of Tinubu cannot handle. They are confused and dumbfounded. Before the 2023 elections, we warned Nigerians not to vote for Tinubu, and today, here we are,” he stated.
Tambuwal also said that some powerful individuals are trying to block the coalition’s progress by using threats and fear. He believes they are worried about how fast the movement is growing.
According to him, Nigerians are aware of what’s going on and are ready to support a group that can bring real change.
