According to Chude TV on Saturday, August 1, 2026, media personality Uchena Nnanna Maduka has revealed that she developed a fear of flying after the death of her sister, saying it took years before she was able to travel by air again.

Speaking during an interview, Maduka described the emotional impact of the loss and reflected on her mother’s health struggles with diabetes and arthritis.

She also recounted what she described as a miraculous experience involving her mother during a life-threatening period.

“I have a phobia for flying. It took me years before I started flying again after I lost my sister. My mother had diabetes and arthritis. My last words were, ‘Mother, mama, I am out. Take care of me.’ And she did. Yes, she did. It’s a miracle,” she said.

Maduka said the experiences strengthened her faith and resilience, highlighting the lasting emotional effects of bereavement and serious family health challenges.
