Entrepreneur Princess Adesewa Oyewobi has revealed that she introduced her fiancé as her brother during a visit to Saki, Oyo State, because many of the people they met had previously expressed romantic interest in her.
Speaking in an interview with Talk to B published on July 21, 2026, Oyewobi said the trip was intended to introduce her fiancé to influential contacts who could support his business. She said she informed him beforehand that she would present him as her brother instead of her fiancé.
“I took my fiancé to Saki to introduce him to some people that I know can support his business, but I told him I would present him as my brother and not my husband,” she said, adding, “I did that because most of them are my suitors.”
Oyewobi also spoke about her upbringing, revealing that she was raised in a polygamous family and had never met some of her siblings in person, knowing them only through Facebook.
She said those experiences shaped her character, survival instincts, and approach to relationships, adding that her fiancé understood and accepted her decision.
