Princess Adesewa Oyewobi has revealed that she introduced her fiancé as her brother during a trip to Saki, saying the decision was intended to help him secure support for his business from men who had previously expressed romantic interest in her.
Speaking in a video published by Talk to B on July 21, 2026, Oyewobi said she informed her fiancé in advance that she would not present him as her future husband because most of the people she planned to meet were her former suitors.
“I took my fiancé to Saki to introduce him to some people that I know can support his business, but I told him I would present him as my brother and not my husband. I did that because most of them are my suitors,” she said.
Oyewobi also spoke about her upbringing, revealing that her father was a polygamist with multiple wives. As the youngest child, she said she has never met all of her siblings, with some relationships existing only through Facebook.
Her remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some critics describing her actions as deceptive, while others expressed sympathy, citing the influence of her family background on her views about trust and relationships.
