Our marriage is only four months old, and ever since we got married, my husband has always done something that made me feel trusted and valued. Every month, as and when he received his salary, he would hand the entire amount over to me and ask me to keep it for him. He’d come for it anytime he needed the money.

Unfortunately, that has changed because of one misunderstanding.
We had an argument one day, and I was so angry that I acted without thinking. Thus, I sent all the money back to him instead of keeping it as I usually did. Looking back now, I know I let my emotions get the better of me, and it was not the right thing to do.

But we discussed the incident in detail, I apologised for my actions, and I promised him that something like that would never happen again.
But ever since then, my husband has completely stopped giving me his salary to keep.
Instead, I recently found out that he now gives the money to his sister to keep for him, and he does it privately without telling me.
That is the part that is really hurting me.
I understand that my actions during our argument may have broken his trust for a moment, but I admitted I was wrong, apologised sincerely, and promised never to repeat that mistake. I thought that after talking things through, we had moved past it together.
So why is he now choosing his sister over his own wife?
I Called My Girlfriend And Another Man Answered The Phone
I cannot stop asking myself whether this is a sign that he no longer trusts me or whether he has more confidence in his sister than he does in me. It makes me feel embarrassed, disrespected, and pushed aside because this was something we always did as husband and wife, yet now another person has taken my place.
Am I overthinking this, or does this suggest that my husband no longer respects or trusts me the way he did before?
