Nollywood actor Ifeanyi Kalu has revealed that his decision to marry his wife was driven by a shared sense of purpose, saying their spiritual and career alignment formed the foundation of their relationship.
Speaking on Chudeity, Kalu said he was drawn to his wife because they shared similar values and goals, adding that he believes God’s guidance played a key role in their union.
“I married my wife because of purpose. I love her, but I could see a lot of alignment, especially spiritually and career-wise as well. And I love her and everything just worked. That was everything that drew me. And of course, praying and all of that and God’s direction. It’s all about purpose, and if God sees that this is purpose, he supports it,” Kalu said.
The actor also spoke about navigating the financial uncertainty of the entertainment industry, explaining that he and his wife approach their careers with a business mindset.
According to Kalu, the couple have invested in other ventures to ensure financial stability during periods when acting opportunities are limited.
“We also think like business people. We try as much as possible to understand that we have to have other investments, so when there is work, fine, and when there is no work, we’re not hungry,” he said.
