Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts to rescue abducted schoolchildren in Oyo State, arguing that similar success had been achieved in previous kidnapping cases.
Speaking in Lagos during the presentation of the 2026/2027 edition of Warnings to the Nations, his annual book of prophecies and forecasts, Ayodele said, “If they could rescue the sister of the former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu and her children, I see no reason they cannot rescue the abducted Oyo schoolchildren.”
The cleric also criticised the continued detention of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, describing it as unjust and questioning why individuals previously accused of terrorism had received presidential pardons and rehabilitation while Kanu remained in custody.
On the 2027 presidential election, Ayodele predicted a two-horse race between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. He, however, warned Tinubu to be cautious of some members of his political circle, saying internal challenges could pose a greater threat to his re-election bid than the opposition.
