Iran Issues Chilling Warning, Asks People to Stay Away From US Troops or Risk Their Lives

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned civilians across the Middle East to keep their distance from U.S. forces amid heightened regional tensions.

According to The Times of Israel on Friday, July 24, 2026, Iranian state media reported that the IRGC urged people in countries hosting American troops to remain at least 500 metres away from locations where U.S. soldiers are stationed.

The warning was presented as a safety measure for civilians amid the risk of escalating tensions involving American military forces in the region.

Iranian officials said the precaution was necessary because of the volatile security environment, which they warned could lead to unintended confrontations or place civilians at risk.

The warning comes as geopolitical tensions remain high across the Middle East, with regional and international actors closely monitoring developments. The IRGC said its position was aimed at protecting regional stability while highlighting what it described as threats posed by the presence of foreign troops.
