It’s difficult to thrive in music industry without belonging to any gang Rapper, CDQ claims  (video)

Rapper CDQ has claimed that one has to belong somewhere in order to make it in the music industry.

Speaking in a recent interview with content creator, JBrandy, the ‘Nowo Soke’ crooner lamented that it is difficult for artists who don’t belong to any gang or cult group to thrive in the music industry.

He said: “You have to belong to a particular gang or cult before anybody could help you in the music industry.”

He added that artistes who made it in the music industry without associating with any gang or cult group were lucky.

He continued: “So, if you don’t belong to this particular gang, or this particular group, or this particular cult or whatever, you might probably spend a lot and not see anything in return.”

CDQ then called on record label executives and other stakeholders in the music industry to change the trend.
