My PA Was Assassinated; I Can See Officers Involved In The Crime But I Can’t Do Anything —Oshiomhole

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has expressed concern over the investigation into the assassination of his former personal assistant, alleging inconsistencies in the findings of security agencies.

Speaking in a video shared by Arise TV, Oshiomhole recalled that the incident occurred during his tenure as governor of Edo State. He said investigation reports by the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force reached conflicting conclusions.

“I had a case in which I accused the police authorities, where my personal assistant was assassinated. The report by the DSS points to one thing, the report by the Nigerian Police Headquarters suggests otherwise, completely incoherent,” he said.

Oshiomhole further alleged that he could identify officers he believed were involved in the crime but lacked the authority to take action. “I am helpless. I can see the officers involved in the crime, but I can do little or nothing about it,” he added.

The senator’s remarks reflect his personal allegations during the interview. There has been no official response from the Nigeria Police Force or the DSS in the report.
