Omega Fire Ministries founder Apostle Johnson Suleman says owning or reading the Bible alone does not guarantee victory over life’s challenges, urging Christians to cultivate a living relationship with the Holy Spirit. Speaking in a sermon shared on YouTube, he said the spiritual realm operates on principles requiring believers to remain spiritually sensitive.
“There are people today who carry this Bible and yet they carry sickness… doctor’s reports… rejection,” he said. Citing Romans 8:9, Suleman stressed that genuine Christian living depends on the Spirit of Christ, encouraging believers to pursue prayer, spiritual growth and divine intervention rather than relying solely on religious symbols or routines.
