The Founder and Senior Prophet of Champions Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla, has identified five major factors he said can destroy lives and hinder people from fulfilling their God-given destinies.
Speaking during the church’s Wasting the Waster Service, themed Born of the Spirit and based on John 3:3–7, Iginla said many people are held back not by a lack of potential but by poor choices, unhealthy relationships and spiritual battles. The sermon was broadcast on the ministry’s YouTube channel.
He listed unforgiveness as the first factor, warning that bitterness prolongs emotional and spiritual bondage. He urged believers to forgive, saying resentment ultimately harms the offended person more than the offender.
Iginla identified wrong association, wrong decisions, wasted opportunities and demonic powers as the other factors. He warned that unhealthy relationships can lead to destructive choices, while poor decisions often produce painful consequences. He also described opportunities as destiny-shaping moments that should not be ignored and urged believers to remain spiritually alert to overcome negative spiritual influences.
Praying for the congregation, he declared: “I prophesy, you shall not be wasted at the edge of greatness, in Jesus’ name,” expressing confidence that those who remain spiritually grounded would overcome every force working against their destiny.
