Fresh details have emerged in the investigation into the death of nurse Mary Habila, with friend and colleague Anita Baaki saying the deceased appeared to be in good health hours before the incident.
In an affidavit, Baaki reportedly outlined their final interactions, which investigators are examining alongside other evidence. Habila, attached to the David Umahi Federal University of Medical Sciences and on secondment to the Federal Ministry of Works, was later found dead in Ebonyi State. Authorities have yet to determine the cause or circumstances of her death and have urged the public to avoid speculation as investigations continue.
