Nollywood actress Bose Aregbesola has recounted how a false allegation nearly caused tension in her marriage, saying her husband’s trust helped prevent the situation from escalating.
Speaking in an interview with Talk to B on Friday, July 17, 2026, Aregbesola said someone informed her husband that she had checked into a hotel with another man. She explained that her husband immediately called her to verify the claim.
According to the actress, she told him she was at a movie location rather than a hotel, and he accepted her explanation without hesitation.
Reflecting on the incident, Aregbesola warned that false rumours and gossip can create unnecessary conflict in relationships. She advised couples to verify information before reacting, noting that some people deliberately spread misinformation to disrupt happy homes.
“Someone told my husband that I was in a hotel with another man. My husband called me and I told him that I was in a movie location, and he believed,” she said.
