‘This Month, American Forces Have Targeted Dozens of Iranian Military Sites on Land’ – CENTCOM

The United States has carried out a 12th consecutive night of military strikes on Iran, targeting key defence infrastructure as part of an ongoing campaign ordered by President Donald Trump.

According to The Times of Israel on July 23, 2026, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said the latest operation targeted Iran’s maritime capabilities, missile and drone storage facilities, coastal surveillance sites and air defence assets.

CENTCOM said the campaign has expanded throughout the month, with American forces striking numerous military sites across Iran while intensifying naval operations.

“This month, American forces have targeted dozens of Iranian military sites on land while resuming a blockade against Iran at sea,” CENTCOM said. The command added that its naval activities are intended to restrict maritime access to Iranian ports.

CENTCOM also disclosed that US forces had redirected nine commercial vessels and disabled one to prevent ships from entering or leaving Iranian ports.

The latest operation marks the 12th straight night of US strikes on Iranian targets, with American officials saying the campaign is aimed at degrading Iran’s military infrastructure and maritime capabilities.
