Staff of UCH, Ibadan, was allegedly recently nabbed diverting diesel meant for critical units at the hospital.
UCH, Ibadan, is currently dealing with power crisis, with parts of the hospital left in darkness.
To keep critical units running, diesel was reportedly purchased for the hospital. However, said diesel was being diverted and sold by some staff members and they were recently caught.
A video shared online shows one of the culprits being confronted.
“There must be an evidence,” the person filming said as he captured videos of kegs of diesel inside a mini bus.
The incident has sparked conversations about corruption and how it has permeated every sector, even down to low-level workers.
