Vinicius Junior Tops List of Three Arsenal Transfer Alternatives After Morgan Rogers Blow

Arsenal are exploring alternative attacking targets after missing out on Morgan Rogers, with Vinicius Junior, Bradley Barcola and Yan Diomande among the players under consideration, according to Football London.

Chelsea’s reported £117 million move for the Aston Villa forward has forced Arsenal to reassess their transfer plans as manager Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his attack ahead of the new season.

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior is regarded as the most high-profile option. With one year remaining on his contract, Arsenal are reportedly monitoring his situation, although any potential move would depend on developments over a new deal in Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola is also on Arsenal’s shortlist after impressing with his pace, versatility and performances at the World Cup. However, PSG are expected to demand a substantial transfer fee.

The third option is RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. The 19-year-old is viewed as one of Europe’s brightest young wide players, but Leipzig’s reported £110 million valuation could prove a major obstacle.

After missing out on Rogers, Arsenal are expected to weigh ambition against financial realities as they seek to reinforce their squad before the transfer window closes.
