The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has spoken about the kidnapping of children and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, expressing confidence in their eventual release.
According to a report published by Premium Times on Monday, June 29, 2026, Adeboye said he prayed over the incident and received assurance from God that the victims would be released dramatically.
Speaking on the abduction, the cleric said those questioning God’s intervention would be disappointed, expressing confidence that those behind the attack would not prevail.
“They said, ‘Where is our God?’ And then God spoke to me. He told me that the release of the children is going to be dramatic,” Adeboye said.
The pastor also declared that the enemies of the country would not succeed, reaffirming his belief that the abducted children and teachers would regain their freedom.
